Marta is an Agricultural Engineer, holds a Diploma in Quality, Quality Assurance, Food Safety and marketing with a wide experience in training agribusiness mattersand technical assistance programs of agri-food products. She has wide professional experience as quality expert and in implementation of quality and food safety systems in export companies.

Marta is a specialist in quality, logistics and merchandising in the retail area for fresh fruits and vegetables in SMEs and big retailers chains. Marta has International experience in America, Pacific Islands and Central Asia with contribution to projects of major international donors like FAO, EU and IADB (Interamerican Development Bank and WB).

Work Experience

Expertise in training in the field, processing plants, retail training from top to bottom. At management segments, farmers and workers. This turns in almost 40 years of experience in practical and theoretical training. More than 40 years’ experience intrain-the-trainer projects and preparation of didactic materials in South and Central America (Bolivia, Chile, Guatemala, Cuba, Argentina and Nicaragua), Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, Egypt, Tanzania, Angola, Fiji Islands and Tonga.

Inspiration to become a trainer

Since the beginning of my professional life I felt the need to communicate knowledge, abilities and attitudes as a powerful tool to improve productivity and competence of different actors along the agro-business value chains. This has been very rewarding.
